visuals
Typical of immortal or otherwise mythological beings in Lore Olympus, Eros' design centers around a particular color, his being rose pink. His hair, skin, and eyes are all very, very pink. Panels show gods having the ability to appear more human while in the mortal realm although we can only assume what Eros does when living with Psyche.
Continuing on, Eros is, for better or worse, personified fanservice; boyishly handsome with abs you could crash-test your face on if you wanted to die happy. He looks a lot like his father Ares, though he inherited a beauty mark beneath his eye from Aphrodite.
Does he have wings? Of course he has wings, although he can conceal them at will. How convenient.

persona
A very brief summary of Eros' personality is campy with a slight chance of wrath.
When he's good, he's great. He's a loving son and a wonderful caretaker to the hoard of younger siblings he has. When it comes to his friendship with Persephone he is considerate, patient, and overprotective. And very campy. He is her biggest cheerleader. He probably gives wonderful hugs...
Eros is heavily flawed as an individual, however. There is an undercurrent of wrath that Zeus blames on Eros' father that shows itself again and again. When Psyche breaks his heart, he lashes out and kills 300 mortals. A competitive grudge against Apollo deepens into barely contained rage whenever he is near -- and while it's due to being overprotective over his best friend -- his efforts made in self-help could probably end with him talking it out. But arrows. Arrows are so good.
On a lighter note, his mischievous nature earned Eros a terrible reputation of being the biggest gossip in Olympus. He is quoted admitting that he is not the most trustworthy god, but here is where he actually does try to make amends. It's an ongoing journey; he's obviously one of the younger gods in this canon and it shows.
